LISTENING FOR LOVE'S SAKE
There are many ways in which the world tries to shape us and form our understandings. One of those ways happens in how we value attention and practice listening to others. On April 17th we will be hosting a family night focused on becoming better listeners for the sake of showing love to those around us. Through this we hope to walk with you in introducing newer rhythms of love in all of our lives as a church to overflow the love of Jesus into our homes, workplaces, and broader influences.
The “Listening for Love’s Sake” Family night will be Friday April 17th from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. There will be something for everyone; an event for Adults and High schoolers, and event for our middle schoolers, and childcarewill also be available. Just text the word LISTEN to our text in number to sign up. Please follow the prompt when you sign up if you need childcare.

This weekend is all about Jesus - remembering His sacrifice on the cross for us with our Good Friday services, and then celebrating His resurrection together at our Easter services!
BAPTISM
Here at The Chapel we are all about helping people take their next steps closer to God and each other.
If you have given your life to Jesus as your savior and lord but have never been baptized, this is your Next Step! Baptism is a public proclamation and demonstration of your faith to others. We will be having a special Baptism Celebration during our weekend worship services on April 25/26.
If you are interested in being baptized, or want to find out more, we have some important baptism information meetings coming up!
We will have Baptism Information Meetings for Middle School, High School and Adults directly following each worship service on March 28/29. This is a brief meeting to hear more about what baptism is and to make sure you are ready to take this important next step. Mark your calendar now!
We will also have a separate information meeting for Elementary age Children and their parents that our Family Ministries team will offer only on Sunday, March 29th directly following the second service at all campuses.
This class is recommended for preteen age children and a parent/guardian to attend together.

We wanted to let you know that we are getting ready now for our upcoming Child Dedications that will happen during our weekend services, March 14-15th! Child Dedication is an act of the parents committing themselves and their child to Jesus and following him. It is also a commitment of our church family to pray for and encourage parents and their children spiritually! On Friday we will be welcoming 154 honored guests to Night to Shine. Night to Shine is an unforgettable night centered on showing God’s love to our friends with special needs. If you were not able to sign up we still have an opportunity for you to be a part of this incredible event. We would love for you to join our Paparazzi team! We will gather at the Sandusky Campus at 5pm and line the red carpet to cheer and celebrate our guests as they get out of the limo. Its one of the highlights of the evening. We will be outside, so dress for the weather but we will have heaters and be handing out hot chocolate and hand warmers!
If you are not able to be a part of Paparazzi – we have something everyone can do to be a part of the night. In the atrium there is a table of blank note cards. Take time to write a sentence or phrase on the cards and we will place these in the favor bags that will be given to each honored guest at Night to Shine! Thank you for helping us to make this a special experience for our guests!

Our high schoolers just returned from retreat. Students left on Friday who had never met Jesus and came home on Sunday committed to following him for the rest of their lives. Others reconnected with both God and each other, committing to get back in the fight. If this can happen in two and half days, wait until you see what happens in a week at camp! If you have a middle schooler or high schooler and want to get them signed up, text MIX2026 (middle school) or MOVE2026 (high school) to 419.504.1777. Because of the generosity of The Chapel, we are able to pay the first $200 of every student. That brings the total down to $399 for MIX, $449 for MOVE!

On Wednesday, January 21st at 5pm, we invite you to come to Osborn Park in Huron at picnic shelter 1 (by the pickleball courts) for a 30 minute information session on Upward Running! This is a new program which combines our love for Jesus and desire to exercise. It will be a 12 week program that meets once per week to prepare people of all abilities to run or walk a 5K! All are welcome - just show up, no registration is required!
