THE CHAPEL UPDATES FOR AUGUST SEPTEMBER 5/6TH

RESCHEDULED PICNIC

Our Sandusky Campus Family Picnic has a new date! On September 27th @ 5pm, we will meet at the Sandusky Campus (not Osborn Park). Can't wait to see all of you!

HOW TO SHARE YOUR STORY

Everyone has a story to tell.

The story of what God has done and is still doing in your life.  Your story is unique and powerful.  In this class we will look at why telling your matters, how your story can impact others, and practical ways to share your story with confidence and authenticity!

Whether you have been following Jesus for decades or have recently put your faith in Him, you have a story worth telling! This is for high school ages and up.

CHURCH CENTER APP

Last week, we took time to talk about the importance of making sure your information is current in our Church Center database. This is another friendly reminder to take some time today or this week to confirm that we have correct contact and age/grade info for you and any kids or students in your household.

Beginning THIS WEEKEND our check in process will change slightly, and we’ll be using Church Center for this process. The walkthrough explaining the change is posted to our Facebook for your reference. We’ll also have (campus person’s name here) available by the next steps center after services to help you if you need any help with navigating this process or the Church Center app. Scan this QR code to download the app!

GROUPS AT THE CHAPEL

We are so excited for all the different Co-Ed, Care, Men’s and Women’s groups that are kicking off over the coming weeks! These circle environments help us move one step closer to God and each other through community built to encourage you in your walk with Christ. You can find all of our open groups through the Church Center app and if you have any questions about groups we have group leaders at a table in the atrium.

MALDONADO'S

The Chapel has partnered with missionaries in Basque country, northern Spain, for about 4 years.   Many people wonder “why there?”  “why Spain?”  And, “what’s the big deal about Basque country?”

Unlike other places in the world, there is no need for clean water, food or shelter in Basque country.  What the great majority of the Basque people lack is an understanding of who Jesus is and how they can have a relationship with God through faith in Jesus. Next weekend, Sunday, Sept 13, 4:30-5:45pm we’ll get to hear from two friends who live in Basque country, trying to make Jesus known there....in the land of athelsm and agnostism.    We’ll get to hear why representing Jesus there is so difficult and we’ll get to about some of the promising steps forward.   Come and learn from those with boots on the ground. And, ask questions.

Enjoy free pizza together, and learn why we are on-mission with God in Basque country!
