If you have given your life to Jesus as your Savior and Lord but have never been baptized, this is your Next Step! Baptism is a public proclamation and demonstration of your faith to others. We will be having a special Baptism Celebration during our weekend worship services on November 15-16 2025.
If you are interested in being baptized or want to find out more about baptism we want you to know that we have some important baptism information mtgs coming up.
We will have baptism info mtgs available for Middle School/High School age and all Adults together this weekend after each weekend worship service. This is a brief mtg to hear more about what baptism is and to make sure you are ready to take this important next step. Mark your calendar now and text in so we know you are interested
We will also have a separate mtg for Elementary age Children and a parent or guardian that our Family Ministries team will offer only on this Sunday, October 26th directly following the second service at all campuses.
A child may only receive one shoebox in their lifetime.
As a result of the OCC shoebox ministry, not only are gifts received, but every 24 hours more than 31,000 children hear the gospel.
All the ideas you need for packing a shoebox with age and gender specific gifts are included with the each box.
This could be the only Christmas gift a child ever receives. As an individual, as a family, as a small group, as a business…. Take one or more boxes and let’s make a difference in a child’s life!
There is a difference between attending The Chapel and actually being a Member of The Chapel. Want to find out what that means? During this class we will look at the Mission, Beliefs and Values that make The Chapel what it is. We will share what it means to Belong, Believe, and Become more like Jesus. You will hear more of what being a “MEMBER” at The Chapel is all about. We want to personally invite you to consider attending our upcoming Membership Class happening at all three campuses this Sunday, October 26, 6-7:30PM. Parenting is tough! There isn’t an owners manual - each child is different. Every family has unique circumstances. There is no way to see what is coming next.
Even though we don’t have a template, we can have tools in our belt to pull from. Love and Logic is a scientifically based parenting philosophy that uses empathy and logical consequences to hand kids back what life is throwing at them so they can problem solve under the umbrella of their parents/guardians guidance. It creates a safe place allowing mistakes to become a way to grow. It helps families diffuse arguments to keep everyone on the same team with the common goal of autonomy.
On Friday, November 14th at 6:00 pm at our Sandusky campus, Jen Rawson will be leading a Love and Logic parenting course. It will be full of practical tools you can even use on Friday night when you get home to tuck in your kids! Parents/Guardians with babies, teens are welcome to join.
